Question 1:
  • Why kind of clients do you mainly work with?
I excel in capturing product imagery and crafting stop-motion videos tailored to both cosmetic products and global food, snack, beverage, and wellness brands. My primary emphasis lies in creating vibrant, attention-grabbing digital content suited for websites, e-commerce platforms, social media, and digital advertising.
Question 2:
  • How much do you charge?
You can find starting pricing HERE . Each project is unique but that will give you a general idea of what I my prices are. I may involve a project-specific minimum fee, contingent upon factors like the season and my availability.

This proposal will encompass the project's scope, time commitment, required skills, deliverables, and the intended usage of your images.

Question 3:
  • How many photos or videos will I get and how long until I get them?
Similar to the pricing structure, the quantity of deliverables is customized according to your specific requirements and aligns with my shooting style. The number of images provided can vary significantly depending on whether you're seeking a diverse set of visuals for social media or just a single image for a print publication.

Following the scheduled shoot date, the images will be delivered within a timeframe of no more than 10-21 business days.
Question 4:
  • What format will the photos be in?
I capture images in RAW format to maintain maximum control during post-processing. The editing process begins in Lightroom, where adjustments are made for exposure, color, and contrast, along with basic retouching. For more intricate editing tasks, I turn to Photoshop, and when working on stop motion projects, I utilize Adobe Premiere Pro.

Stop motion is created using Dragon Frame and then I use lightroom, photoshop and premiere pro to bring your product(s) to life.

Digital content is typically delivered in formats such as .jpg, .mov, or .mp4. For print-related projects, the delivery format can be tailored to your preferences, with options like .tif, .jpg, or other formats as per our discussion. The dimensions and aspect ratio of the images will be customized to suit your specific usage requirements, which will be detailed in the project scope.

Should you require advanced retouching beyond basic enhancements, this service is available for an additional fee. For tasks involving "special effects" and most print-related editing, Photoshop is employed.
Question 5:
  • Do I need to provide any equipment such as props, backdrops and/or ingredients??
When conducting projects within my studio, I typically rely on my personal collection of props, backdrops, and equipment unless you have specific preferences.

In case you require distinctive items such as a customized backdrop or particular servingware or props that are not in my inventory, you have two options. You can either supply these items yourself, or I can take care of sourcing and procuring them on your behalf.

Clients are responsible for shipping their products to me, or if they're local, they can arrange for delivery. Additionally, any required food ingredients, props, or other items you'd like to incorporate should be included in the shipment. In cases where a product necessitates styling adjustments or repairs upon arrival, I kindly request that you include extra ingredients so that I can address any needs effectively.

During our discussion, we will determine the quantity of each item you should provide, which will vary based on the shot list and the specific nature of your product."
Question 6:
  • What does "remote shoot" mean? Do you ever do on-location shoots?
The majority of my photography work takes place within my studio, a choice that not only benefits my clients by keeping costs in check but also grants me access to an extensive array of props, tools, lighting equipment, backdrops, and more.

Depending on the project's scope and your business requirements, it may make sense to arrange for an on-site photoshoot at your chosen venue. In such instances, I am open to conducting location photography within the Kansas City region or traveling to your specified destination outside of Kansas City. For shoots requiring travel outside the local area, a minimum commitment of three full days, along with associated expenses, will apply. Additionally, access to specific equipment may also be subject to consideration.

The lead time may extend a bit further for on-location shoots.
Question 7:
  • Do you work with a prop or food stylist or models?
I handle the majority of food styling duties, particularly when working within my studio. However, for more intricate projects, on-location assignments, or specific product types, enlisting the services of a prop or food stylist may prove beneficial. If such assistance is deemed necessary, we can explore various options and tailor the pricing structure accordingly. Furthermore, if there is a requirement for a hand model or any other model for the images, we can incorporate this aspect into the project scope.
Question 8:
  • Where are you located?
My studio is located in Kansas City, Missouri, from which I serve clients not only across North America but also internationally. The bulk of my projects are executed through remote photoshoots conducted within my studio, making geographic location seldom a barrier.
